Our Journey to Protect the Boulder Community

Our Vision: A Safer Boulder
Coalition4Cyclists is dedicated to supporting Boulder County projects that protect our lifestyle and safety for future generations. We advocate for many infrastructure projects that make cycling safe and enjoyable for everyone. The bikeway bridge on Hwy 119 from Boulder to Longmont being installed.

From Wednesday Rides to Safer Streets for All
Wednesday Morning Velo began in 2000 as a small group of business locals riding before work, building friendships and making business connections along the way. The ride grew into an open, community-oriented cycling group supported by local sponsors.
In 2013, following the devastating Boulder County floods, members of this cycling community came together and raised more than $200,000 to help Jamestown and Lyons recover. That effort led to the formation of Coalition4Cyclists, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to giving back to the communities we ride in, improving cycling safety, and building positive relationships among everyone who uses our roads and trails.
Today, Wednesday Morning Velo and Coalition4Cyclists continue that shared tradition of riding, community and advocacy.
We are instrumental in making our community safer in many ways from sponsoring large infrastructure projects to signage you see everyday on the roads in our County.
