Near-term Programs

Coalition4Cyclists is a nonprofit organization focused on near-term and long-term programs that make cycling safer in Boulder. In the near-term, we collaborate with various stakeholders in the cycling community, including the County Sheriff, Fire Departments, Boulder Valley School District, Bicycle Colorado and over 80 cycling clubs and bike shops in the county. After Years of Planning Hwy 119 Bikeway will Open in 2027

The construction underway on CO Hwy 119 between Longmont and Boulder perfectly illustrates the benefits of multimodal transportation in our region funded through federal, state, and partnerships. Transforming this high-risk corridor into a multi-modal corridor with light rail, express bus lanes, dedicated biking and walking route. This will drastically improve efficiency and safety, significantly reducing accidents for everyone on the road.
